In order to gain some design influences, I wanted to look at some old Olympic posters for some aesthetic research. I particularly like the uses of a basic form or shape to communicate a message.
I have decided it would be good to create something quite conceptual, involving shape or form of the Petanque balls, with a similar aesthetic to the last 4 posters. The audience do not need to be informed on how the game looks or is played, just on where the event is, with details of that. This means I can be much more minimal or conceptual with the design, as my audience should understand instantaneously.
